Sick Baby

Cullan is sick again. He has the Croup and is running a fever. Chris is taking him to the doctor this afternoon. Hopefully my sweet boy is feeling better soon. I hate when he feels so bad.


Maddie and Cullan just love one another. I have to tell her that he is not her puppy and she doesn't need to give him a bath. She just has to kiss him all the time and he grabs onto her when she goes by.

Daycare had a Head Lice infestation this week. I worked from home a half day monday and tuesday. Luckily Lisa is open again and things are back to normal. I have to say I am definitely feeling the stress of motherhood this past month or so between the 40 plus inches of snow, stuffy nose followed by stomach flu running through all of us, then sinus infection, now lice... It is a lot to deal with at once and makes me really miss having family and a helping hand near by. I am hoping things will get smoother soon. Cullan is great. He is going through a lot of changes and we are working on him soothing himself and not getting constant attention but he is still a Joy. He loves laying on the floor, taking his socks off and playing with his toes.

Saturday I took Chris and Cullan to lunch and then to Babies r us. We caved and bought him a walker! We just keep him in the kitchen but now realize we must baby proof :) Thursday Night I had dinner with the girls from work. Cullan sat in Michelle's lap and looked through the menu. He also took Linda's glasses and tried to put every napkin in his mouth. He had a big time for the half hour he was there before Chris came and picked him up to give me a break and a nice girls evening.

Cullan Loves the remote control so we just got him the Sesame Street remote that looks like ours. Of course he still wants the real one! Cullan's Nick name is pooh bear or bear.

First trip to DC

We took Cullan down to DC on Saturday. It was VERY cold so we bundled him up good. He had a great time sitting up in his big boy stoller and going through the museum of American History. We all enjoyed the museum and then had a nice lunch after. Cullan is still worn out from the weekend.

Snow Days and Grandparents

Thursday Grandpat and Nene came to town. I worked from home since we now have about 40 inches of snow on the ground. We took Cullan to the mall on Friday although we did have to fight the mounds and mounds of snow. We have done more shoveling in the past several weeks than one would want to do in a whole year (Ok Chris has done more shoveling).

Since we have had soooooooooooooo much snow and more on the way, we have been in our PJ's the past few days. Let me rewind.. Wednesday Cullan went home with a Horrible stomach bug that I got Thursday and Chris got Friday into Saturday. Then it snowed 30inches and I spent the day defunking the house and airing it out to get rid of the germs. Sunday Chris shoveled lots and lots of snow. Needless to say We have been in our PJ's a lot. Monday I worked from home since daycare was closed and Cullan wanted to be in my lap helping me. Everytime i was on the phone with the office he was talking in the background. He was such a good helper. I have now completley lost my voice and all 3 of us our conjested. I have never seen more illness in one month and I am praying this is over soon. Just some pictures taken of Cullan hanging out stuck inside during this awful winter weather. Now when i come at him with the camera he smiles at me and kind of poses for a picture.

Sunday Brunch

Sunday Cullan went to his first brunch! We meet our friends Matt and Michelle and had a really nice time. The food was great and I finally got me an Mimosa (or 2...)
Cullan has started with these little temper tantrum spells, which he doesnt do with me often but apparently he tends to throw them at daycare. He is going through a phase where he cant stand for me to leave the room so he gets fussy. I was getting ready to go and he got himself stuck upside down on the couch just a whimpering (so of course I had to capture that picture). I told Cullan last night "we werent having it" when he started having a little tantrum. I am sure he listened and wont do it anymore.. LOL!!

2 Great Videos

Ok.. Now they seem to be up and running again so i will post these hoping they will work. One is catching the end of a roll (havent captured from start to finish yet) and the other is when i put him down from a nap. I heard him through the monitor downstairs and ran up to catch his crazyness on video. Cullan cracks chris and i up all the time.. he is too funny!!

Weekend Stuck Inside

This weekend was sooo cold. Friday Cullan and I worked on Tummy time and he rolled over 3 times, belly to back. Saturday we got 4-5 inches snow and the wind chill was about 9 degrees so we spent Fiday and Saturday indoors playing and watching disney movies. Saturday I was trying to put Cullan down for a nap in his crib and he was not having it. I have been starting to try and break him from being in his swaddle but after about a half hour of him laughing and talking and not wanting to sleep, I swaddled him and he napped for his full 2 hours! I have 2 great videos but they arent working again so i am wondering if i need to find a new way to upload them :(
