Mornings

Mornings are hectic and I have about 45 mins or so with my buddy. I get him up and dressed, then he has a bottle. While I take care of Maddie he plays in his activity chair and then I bundle him up and get him ready to go. I have to get all my stuff and lunch together so he just watches me and talks and plays with his frog. Then off we go to Lisa's house... This morning he was feeling a little crabby and was yelling and talking and swinging his frog around. My little Mess Pot!!

Bonding Time

This weekend Cullan really found interest in Maddie. He would stretch his hands out and pet her and she would start licking him in the face. I have to tell Maddie Cullan does not need a bath. Maddie's new thing is when we are praising Cullan for doing something she comes and gets in the middle and gets on her hind legs or rolls on her back like, "Look Mom I can do it too". They are so cute together.

Friday Cullan and I were working on Tummy Time. He rolled over for me once but hasnt done it sense. Everytime he would look up at me he would have the biggest smile on his face. He also Loves his toes. He holds his feet up in the air all the time and he loves playing Superman but you better watch out for the drool! Chris and him were too funny cause he picked him up indian style and Cullan looked like he was riding his majic carpet. You will notice him in his diaper a lot in the evenings cause he gets Oatmeal and baby food. He is a MESS and it is just easier to feed him in his diaper and wipe him down then get food all over his clothes.. LOL

Peek-a-boo

Chris and Cullan were playing Peek-a-boo last night and Cullan was just a laughing. Also, I dropped Cullan at Lisa's yesterday and she called me 5 mins later saying "ok you didnt tell me his is rolling over!" I said "HE ISNT"! Apparently he rolled twice for her like it was no big deal and done it before. When i get home with him he wants nothing to do with it. He lays on the floor, kicks and squirms then starts fussing! Maybe he will roll for me on Friday.

Saturday in the Park

Chris and I went to toys r us this weekend and got him some new stuff. One is a lightup music station that he can sit up at and play with then it has wheels and he can push it later. Cullan LOVED the park. Maddie ran all our errands with us and when Cullan and I were sitting in the back seat waiting to get out at the park she jumped up into the drivers seat ready to go. It looked like she was our driver. We all walked and played then headed home and watched Disney Sing a long. Cullan Kicked and squealed the whole time. He loves watching cartoons and football.

FOR SOME REASON I AM HAVING TROUBLE HITTING THE PLAY ON THE VIDEOS, BUT IF YOU HIT PLAY AND NOTHING HAPPENS.. SCROLL THE CURSOR OVER JUST A BIT AND IT WILL KICK ON AND PLAY. YOU HAVE TO MOVE THE CURSOR THEN GO BACK AND START IT FROM THE BEGINNING :)

Friday's with Mommy

I have cut my hours to 32 hours a week and have every Friday off. I am so grateful Chris and I were able to work this out so i can have one day extra home a week with my baby boy. Friday I took Cullan to the doctor with me (OB) and all the nurses fawned all over him like they always do :) We went to Walmart and Starbucks, Then by the time we got home, I started giving him a bottle and he passed out sitting up on the couch!! When we have busy days his last hour before we start bedtime routine is usually a challenge. He gives me such pitiful faces.

Last night Cullan sat by himself for at least a few mins. When i dropped him at Lisa's this morning I sat him in front of the Lego bench and he stayed up for about 3minuites. Last week he would only stay up a few seconds and then fall over. These pictures show the sequence of events. He would sway a little then get himself back up, then he would Fall backwards.

Raven for a Day

My Manager Mark got Cullan a really nice Baltimore Ravens outfit. Of couse we all know the Thesing family are Huge Steelers Fans so this caused an issue on when to wear it. Since the Steelers didnt make the playoffs Chris let Cullan wear his Ravens gear on Sunday when they Played the Patriots. I also put the hat his Grandpat got him for Christmas on him and he looked so cute in it. Uncle Daniel said Cullan looks like Notorious B.I.G in the hat.. LOL! I took Pics so I could show everyone at work that he did Wear his Ravens outfit.

4 Months Old

Cullan turned 4 months on Thursday. He went and got his shots on Friday and is weighing in at a little over 15 pounds. He is too funny in his activity center so i am constantly taking pictures of him playing. He has been eating rice cereal, well spitting it out and now we started him on stage one fruits. He actually seemed to enjoy the apple sauce. Cullan has become a busy boy and is becoming a handful. We were all geared up and ready for the National Championship. So sad Colt got hurt but Gilbert played his little heart out for being a True Freshman. Hook'Em Horns (I still think they are #1).

A New Milestone

This morning I was giving Cullan his bottle and he grabbed on to it, which he has done before. BUT this time I was able to get up and make my lunch while he held and ate almost all of his bottle. He gave it to himself until the end when he couldn’t lift the bottle up to get the rest out! My boy is growing up Fast!

Cold Weekend

This weekend was so cold.. Wind Gusts of 40-50 mph and wind chill at about 2-14 degrees. We stayed in all weekend and bundled up. I made Cullan a little spot on his mat in the living room and we watched baby enstein and football and played for a while in the afternoons on the floor. It was fun snuggling all up together. Cullan absolutley loves his activity chair. He bounces as hard as he can and plays with all the different animals on it. He is just so funny.. every thing you hand him he Puts it in his mouth, then pulls it up and covers his face with it. He was doing it with his pooh book this weekend.

Rolling Over and Sitting Up

We have been working a lot on rolling over and sitting up. He rolls over by accident sometimes and is getting more stable holding himself up. Cullan chats all the time and smiles all the time. Since we have been working a lot with him down on the floor, Maddie gets jealous and when Cullan is done it is her turn to sit on the boppy pillow. Thursday when Cullan and I got home Chris had built us a little snow man on the porch.
