38 Weeks and Counting...

The doctor went well on Tuesday. I am a little over 1 centimeter dilated and about 70% effaced. Cullan has dropped very low which is putting much more pressure on my bladder and i thought i couldn't possibly go to the bathroom more than i already have been!!!! I have been pampering myself this week a little with a manicure and pedicure, and cut my hair off. My next appointment is Monday and if he hasn't come by then, my doctor will try to get me on to be induced on Tuesday, but no guarantees. Cullan will come when he is ready and until then Chris and I are trying to be patient. :)

NO Change!!

I just got home from the doctor and still no changes. I have an appointment with her on Tuesday next week and she said if I can get to 2 Centimeters dilated then they will induce me on Thursday. This would be wonderful so i will walk up and down as many hills as i have too to get there. I am now officially on Maternity leave and hoping to enjoy at least a day or 2 of rest and relaxation before he comes. I have been having a lot of contractions, but they are just mild ones. Hopefully Cullan will decide to come next week.

Cullan got new presents from his Godmother, Krista, big Eeyore and Tigger stuffed animals. I decided to use the new camera and took a picture of Jennifer as she was relaxing last night.

37 Weeks

I have not progressed since my last doctors visit, so i don't think Cullan will be coming too early. I am certainly ready for him to come! I am still just slightly dilated and a little effaced. He is Weighing in at 6 pounds 6 ounces. I begin Maternity Leave Monday the 17th and i am very excited this is my last week of work before his arrival :)

Starting to Dialate

I went to the doctor today and here is all the scoop I got... Looks like Cullan will be here before his due date. I am a Fingertip dialated, starting to thin and he is sitting very low. The doctor said it will probably be by 38/39 weeks, but if he isnt here at 39 then they may go ahead and enduce labor. Could be anytime now so we just are waiting. I have a Sonogram on Thursday August 6th that will tell me his size and weight followed by a doc appointment to check my progression. I have been very uncomforatable starting this past week and have had a few actual contractions. I cant believe it is getting to be time. :) I will be 36 weeks and counting this weekend!

Poor Maddie!!

Maddie doesnt know what to think of all this new baby stuff. She has been extremly cuddly with me latley and always wants to be in the middle of what we are doing. This will be a new adventure for her too. Chris' Grandparents sent Cullan a bunch of Curious George books and stuffed Animal. Chris loved Curious George as a child. George has been hanging in Cullan's swing for the time being.

Cullan's Nursery

Chris and I have pretty much finished the Nursery. We have had a lot of fun getting it ready for Cullan.

My Step-Grandfather was an Artist and Drew this picture for me when i was young or my favorite Stuffed Animal "Pandy". Now I have passed it down to my Son.

This beautiful Pillow was made by Cullan's Grandma (Thesing). She also made him his baby quilt which i will post a picture later this week. Thank you again Carol, The pillow and Quilt are beautiful.

Grandma Steffens (Mimi) made this stain glass for my nursery and gave it to Cullan to have in his Nursery!

Brook and her new Company made Cullan's Initials in Pooh Fabric and Fabric to Match his bedding. It turned out great!! Thanks SunnyandBrookDesigns :)
